Research Papers
Our collaborative research spans over two decades, addressing critical public health challenges in India through interdisciplinary and community-engaged approaches. Key focus areas include maternal and child health, vaccination uptake, infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, HIV, and leprosy, as well as socio-cultural determinants of health behaviors. Our work has explored clinician and community perspectives, health system responses, and policy implications, particularly among tribal, urban slum, and low-literate populations. Using both qualitative and mixed-methods research, we aim to inform equitable health policies and promote culturally sensitive interventions that improve health outcomes for marginalized communities.
Books
Our team has contributed extensively to literature in public health, anthropology, and community development through authored books and book chapters. Key themes include tribal health and nutrition, Panchayati Raj, AYUSH systems, sexuality and reproductive health, stigma across diseases like HIV, TB, and leprosy, and the socio-cultural dimensions of healthcare access. These publications reflect our commitment to bridging academic research and grassroots realities, with contributions from leading scholars. Published by reputed presses like Concept Publishing, Routledge, and INCAA, this body of work supports policy formulation and community-based practice through grounded, interdisciplinary insights.
Project Reports
Over the years, our organization has produced a range of insightful project reports grounded in fieldwork, community engagement, and interdisciplinary research. These reports span themes such as tribal and rural health, stigma reduction, migration, maternal health, Panchayati Raj, and traditional health systems like AYUSH. Developed in collaboration with academic institutions, NGOs, and government agencies, each report offers practical learnings and policy recommendations rooted in lived realities. Our reports serve as critical tools for program planning, advocacy, and academic discourse—reflecting our ongoing commitment to participatory, action-oriented research that centers the voices of marginalized communities.
