MISSION
The mission of MAAS is to serve as a voluntary association of excellence in applying the knowledge of Anthropological Sciences. We focus on participatory integrated development in the of equity, addressing issues of poverty, disease, and deprivation from a holistic perspective. Our goal is to equalize access to science, technology, and education, reducing disparities across gender, ethnic groups, and regions while promoting human dignity and universal values through an understanding of bio-social evolutionary processes.

बहुउद्देशीय प्रशिक्षण केंद्र, कोचरे (सिंधुदुर्ग)

वरील छायाचित्र महाराष्ट्र मानव विज्ञान परिषदेच्या 2010 साली बांधण्यात आलेल्या प्रशिक्षण केंद्राचे आहे. सिंधुदुर्ग जिल्ह्यातील वेंगुर्ला तालुक्यात कोचरे या गावी समुद्र किनाऱ्यालगत निसर्गरम्य परिसरात ही टुमदार इमारत आहे.
कोचरे ग्रामपंचायतीचे माजी सरपंच मा. श्री. लवू गावडे यांनी स्वतःची २२ गुंठे जमीन संस्थेच्या नावे बक्षिसपत्र करुन दान केली आहे. सदर जमिनीमध्ये माजी खासदार श्री. सुरेश प्रभू स्थानिक विकास निधीतून प्रशिक्षण केंद्राची ही इमारत बांधण्यात आलेली आहे.
सदरचे प्रशिक्षण केंद्र उभारण्यात श्री. जयवंत मंत्री, सचिदानंद जाधव, लवू गावडे, योगेश प्रभू, राउळ सर, आदरणीय मीराताई जाधव व समस्त कोचरे ग्रामस्थांचे मोठे योगदान लाभले आहे.
Multipurpose Training Center, Kochare (Sindhudurg)
The photograph above shows the Training Center built in 2010 by the Maharashtra Anthropological Sciences . This neat and charming building is located in a scenic coastal area in Kochare village, Vengurla Taluka, Sindhudurg District.
Former Sarpanch of Kochare Gram Panchayat, Mr. Lavu Gawade, generously donated 22 gunthas of his own land to the organization through a formal gift deed. On this land, the training center building was constructed using funds from the Local Area Development Fund of former Member of Parliament, Hon. Sri. Suresh Prabhu.
The establishment of this training center was made possible through the significant contributions of Mr. Jaywant Mantri, Mr. Sachidanand Jadhav, Mr. Lavu Gawade, Mr. Yogesh Prabhu, Mr. Raul, Respected Meera Tai Jadhav, and all the villagers of Kochare.
